Our Primary Concern when taking on any project is the ROI (return on investment) realized by our clients. Processes can easily become lengthy and excessive causing both parties to waste time and money. Over the years we have streamlined our process to ensure efficient completion of the ILC (Initiative Life Cycle). Regardless of the project type, we apply a six phase strategy to all initiatives:
In this crucial phase we take the time to understand the client’s business and the target audience. Research is conducted through discovery meetings with the stakeholders and business owners in order to scope out the initiative, familiarize ourselves with their current technology, infrastructure, business strategy, and messaging.
This phase involves scheduling, strategically mapping out business objectives to technical and creative requirements, site mapping, choosing appropriate technology, and crafting the information architecture where appropriate. For larger projects MRDs (Marketing requirements Document) and FRSs (Functional Requirements Specifications) are created.
Initial design concepts are created and information flow is presented through storyboards. Full scale development begins once all stake holders have bought off on one design. Data is organized by messaging, structure, navigation, and functionality. Development includes the gathering and creation of content, creating HTML pages and templates, programming, scripting and any database development necessary. When necessary we also provide SEO (search Engine Optimization) and web analytics. Regardless of the scope of the project, the client is kept in the loop at each step to ensure smooth development and delivery.
Once development has been completed we go through a rigorous cycle of QA with our clients. We test functionality of the site and the integrity of the content. Any found bugs are prioritized, fixed, and final checks conducted.
The final product is launched when the client has signed off on the work. This phase also includes sending out announcements when appropriate.
When we’re talking about an initiative like a web site, an internet application, of interactive product demo, we provide our clients with the option of maintaining the project for them, training them to maintain it themselves
